Celebrate Labor Day Weekend with your neighbors at our Annual Labor Day Picnic!

Date: Sunday, September 6, 4:00 - 7:00 pm

Location: CCH Pool Field - 3622 Old Post Rd

Food: DRWCA will provide burgers, hot dogs, soft drinks, Kona snow cones, and desserts. Please bring a side dish to share!

There will be lawn games and activities for children, including a petting zoo, and a moon bounce! 

This is a members only event. All residents who have paid their annual 2026-2027 dues at the picnic or before, will be entered into a raffle to win prizes donated by local Fairfax City businesses. Prizes will be raffled off at the picnic.

Food for Neighbors Initiative

The Rotary Club of Fairfax is seeking assistance on a new initiative: Food for Neighbors (foodforneighbors.org) provides non-perishable food/hygiene items to local schools (Fairfax, Katherine Johnson & Frost) during the school year for those in need. Individual items (no family packs, please!) may be dropped off with local neighbor Tom Ross (3520 Country Hill Drive) and placed in bins on his front porch, beginning September 7 through September 11. We also plan to have several bins at our annual Labor Day Picnic for contribution. We can make a difference for those in need in our area!
